In a land of silence
Dwelt a lonely drifter
A quiet soul lost amongst the smug
A dreamer amongst the angry
A peacemaker amongst the judgmental
With a voice as loud as a whisper
Drowned beneath the shouts of rage
He beckoned the broken to be healed
He entreated the hungry to be fed
He sold his crown to purchase peace
He wandered to touch the untouchable
With hands of mercy, torn and ripped
He invited the discarded to come and dance
